Bandit Software was founded in May 2009 by Chris Hefley, Stephen Franklin, and Daniel Norton. We all worked together once upon a time at the Nashville-based healthcare giant, HCA, Inc. We’d remained friend for years, long after leaving to pursue other opportunities, and one day we just decided it was time. Time to strike out on our own and “own the company we want to work for.” So, one night back in May we gathered in Stephen’s basement, and Bandit Software was born. Six months and many sleepless nights later, we are on the verge of launching our first product, LeanKit Kanban.
